Omowunmi Fatogun is a graduate of Benson Idahosa University, Benin and Nigerian Law School, Lagos campus.
As a law student, she interned with Yusuf Ali & Co, Ilorin where she was introduced to the fundamentals of law practice. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in December 2015 and as a new wig, she started her career as a Research Assistant in Bayelsa State Judiciary where she got acquainted with extensive legal research for judgements and rulings.
Thereafter, she proceeded to Niji Oni & Co, a full-service law firm in Lagos, where she garnered skills in Legislative Drafting, Commercial & Corporate Law Practice, Intellectual Property Law, Real Estate Law Practice and Company Secretarial Practice.
Afterwards, she proceeded to work in J.G.C Partners, where she was further exposed to other areas of general practice. As a person who is passionate about continuous personal development, she has taken courses in specialized areas of law.Outside the four corners of a law firm, she also had a stint in the aviation industry as she was an active part of a legislative drafting team and served as secretary to the AIB Safety Recommendation Committee 2018 set up by the Minister of State for Aviation.
Omowunmi is currently an Associate in the Communication and Technology Department of Adeniji Kazeem & Co, Lagos state where she provides specialized legal services to clients. In her spare time, Omowunmi loves to read, write fiction and volunteer for causes close to her heart.
