Damilola is an Associate in the Banking & Finance Practice Group of Banwo & Ighodalo
He primarily advises on corporate and project finance transactions and has advised corporates as well as local & international financial institutions on a host of syndicated lending, project finance, loan restructuring and refinancing transactions across various sectors including, without limitation, real estate, telecoms, oil & gas, and agriculture. Damilola also participates in mergers & acquisitions, and financial technology transactions.
Damilola was commended by clients in the International Financial Law Review (2019 Edition) as “one of the smartest young associates in the industry” who is “able to review facility documents and address queries on an urgent basis.”
Damilola obtained his undergraduate law degree from the University of Lagos (2014) and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2015. He holds a master’s degree in Corporate/Commercial Law from Harvard Law School (2019).
In his spare time, Damilola enjoys teaching & mentoring law students and younger lawyers. He is a huge tennis fan, and loves traveling and meeting new people.
