Babatunde Ibidapo-Obe was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009 and has been involved in the legal technology space since 2012. With a PhD in Law he has pioneered the use rigorous legal research supported by automation as a way to improve access to justice in Nigeria.
He is the founder of LawPàdí – an access to justice online platform that educates Nigerians about their rights and duties by giving clear and easy to understand information about the law and how it affects their daily lives. LawPàdí has helped millions of Nigerians to understand their legal rights and in some cases, provided support for them to get justice.
He has also consulted for several firms and individuals interested in adopting legal technology in order to improve their efficiency, processes and profitability.
He currently mentors a number of legal technology entrepreneurs in Nigeria and other African countries and is optimistic about the endless and exciting possibilities that exist in the legal technology sector.
